A key tag that gets your keys back
Stick a ThingsTag on your key ring. Anyone who finds your keys scans the code with their phone camera and can call, text or email you with one tap. No address on the tag and no app to install.

Your details live on the page, not on the sticker. When your number changes or you lend the keys to someone, edit the page. The tag on the key ring shows the new version right away.

- What it is
- "Rickard's keys" or "Office keys, 3rd floor" tells the finder what they are holding.
- A short thank you
- People are more likely to help when they feel welcome. Say how you will get the keys back.
- Only the contact you want
- Tick call, text or email. A work number or a separate email address works fine.
- No address
- Never write where the keys fit. The page only has to get them back to you.
Tips for the sticker
- Put the sticker on a key fob or keyring tag rather than on the key itself.
- Cover it with clear tape so it survives pockets and bags.
- Larger codes scan more easily. About 25 mm is a good size for a key fob.
- Use the same code on your bag, wallet and bike, or one code per thing.

Questions
What does the finder see?
Your headline, your message and the buttons you ticked. The page says "You found" before the headline, so it is clear what to do.
Can someone find my address from the tag?
No. The page only shows what you write, and tag pages are hidden from search engines.
What if my phone number changes?
Sign in and edit the page. The sticker stays the same and shows the new number at once.
